I did it. Its official! I’m an Aussie citizen

Hi everyone,

I hope you all had a wonderful day celebrating Australia day. I know I certainly did!
Australia day was a big day for me as my family and I attended Queanbeyan park’s ‘ Australia day’ celebrations where I received my Australian citizenship, Finally after 13 years living in Australia, 32 kilos down and 9 children under my belt, I finally became an ‘official Aussie citizen’ and it feels so amazing! I’m so incredibly happy! I feel so proud to be a part of this beautiful country and I’m so excited for the future.

Australia day is also my anniversary of coming to Australia so the day was even more special for my family and I. I will cherish this special day forever. I even had my photo with Mayor Tim Overall which was lovely.
It certainly was a fantastic day and one I will never forget. Thank-you Australia for welcoming me and accepting me into your beautiful country. I am forever grateful πŸ‡¦πŸ‡ΊπŸ€©

I will never forget my British roots or where I came from and let’s face it I’m always going to sound British anyway πŸ˜‚. After 13 years here, I finally feel like I belong. πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

I am, you are, we are Australian πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

A big Congratulations also to the the other 80 people in the Queanabeyan Palerang region who become Aussie citizens yesterday ❀

My story is also in The Canberra Times so make sure you grab a copy if you can. I’m editing a little video of the day that I will be posting on my Igtv in the next few days

Thank-you every one for supporting my always

Faith & Blogging. Do they work well together?

Faith & Blogging. Do they work well together?

Hello,

It’s been a tough few days with my husband’s car being destroyed in the hail storm and then having to buy another car. We hadn’t planned on buying another car for a while but here we are πŸ€” The kids are now also sick with bad colds and sore throats just days before my citizenship ceremony which is not great but that’s life!

2020 has certainly thrown us some big challenges already. Thank God I have my supportive family and my amazing faith that gets me through these really difficult days.

When people ask me; ” how do I cope with everything? I say; ” by the grace God I get trough my days! I do get odd looks from people when I reply but I don’t care! I’m not ashamed of my faith, nor am I ashamed of my beautiful family. I am proud of everything I’ve achieved. I will always be honest when people ask me questions about my life. Praying is really important to me. It gives me so much peace and clarification. I thank God for my blessings every single day. A rosary a day, keeps my mind at bay πŸ™

I have also been asked; ‘Do you feel people’s assumptions about you and your family are heightened due to your faith? Yes, I believe it is in some cases but I say; ‘let people assume all they like, Ultimately people are going to assume things about you no matter what your life situation is. today’s Society can be a very dark and judgmental place. As long as you are all healthy and happy then that’s all that matters.πŸ™Œ
I’ve also been asked; ‘Does blogging and faith work well together? I believe it does work well together because my faith gives more determination and motivation to talk about the things I’m most passionate about. I’m also in control of what I chose to do. If I’m offered work through my blog that makes me feel uncomfortable or it doesn’t align with my beliefs then I will politely decline. I seek guidance through prayer when I’m unsure about something. Before doing something, ask yourself “Does that spark joy? If something doesn’t feel right then don’t do it

As a busy mum of 9, I have found my blog to be really good for me and my mental health. The last 20 months have been so amazing. I have learnt so much along the way. I will certainly continue to share my journey with you all.
Keeping it real always πŸ₯°

Thankyou for your ongoing support

Duit skincare – for her

Duit skincare – for her

Hey everyone,

For the last few weeks, I have been trialing the https://www.instagram.com/duitau/ skincare for her range which was kindly gifted to me through https://www.sweatybettypr.com/ and I must say I am very impressed with the range.

Over the years I have tried and tested so many creams and lotions and nothing has really worked on my dry skin but now I think I’ve finally something that works really works well and I’m excited to talk to you about it!

  1. The Duit dry and foot heal roll-on balm for dry and cracked skin:
Before
After

Wow! Guys this product is AMAZING! I’ve had dry and cracked feet for as long as I can remember and at times they have been really painful too. I started using the roll-on balm and within days I was seeing results! I was actually amazed! My skin is much smoother now and less dry and isn’t painful at all. You can see how much the skin has cleared and it’s only been a few weeks. I will definitely continue to share my progress on this one. This was by far my top product out of the range.

  1. Duit tough hands for her: As a busy mum of 9 I’m always washing my hands which then for years had lead to me having really dry and sore skin. It would often bleed too which made me feel miserable. Again within days of using the cream, I was seeing big results!
Since using this cream my hands aren’t even dry at all and they actually look youthful again. Overall I am very impressed and will continue to use it.
  1. Duit Vitamin E face cream:
Growing up I always had ‘good skin’ but then after having children, my skin became dry and patchy. I tried many creams and again nothing worked until I came across the vitamin E cream. This cream nourishes your skin leaving it feeling silky smooth and hydrated. I actually love it and will continue to use it. I would add a full review on my blog later tonight

Have you tried the Duit skincare rangebefore? ‘Stop thinking and just duit’ 😎

The English alphabet poster with beautiful animals – A2 size

Product link – https://artisangiftco.com.au/products/animal-alphabet-chart-english

in collaboration with The Artisan Gift Co

Hey everyone,

You guys know how much I love my unique pieces from @theartisangiftco β™‘
Well, today I bring you this beautiful A2 animal English alphabet poster. The animals you see are hand-drawn by using watercolour paint. Not only is it beautiful to look at, but it’s also very educational too. My children are already enjoying naming all the animals on the poster. It’so cute to watch.

The foil letters you see are currently available in gold and rose gold options. You do also have the option to purchase a high-quality Teak Wooden Hanger to go with the poster. The A2 size hanger suitable for this poster is 42cm long, however, I purchased my own frame and I think it looks really lovely and matches my other frames perfectly.

This would be an ideal gift for Christmas or birthdays, or even a baby shower, or for a young child’s room or anyone who just adores animals! I love adding these sweet, beautiful and refreshing pictures in my home.
The Regular price is $59.99 but they currently have a sale on across their website. You can save $11 on this particular product and only pay $48.99

Afterpay is also available!
