You guys know how much I love my unique pieces from @theartisangiftco ♡ Well, today I bring you this beautiful A2 animal English alphabet poster. The animals you see are hand-drawn by using watercolour paint. Not only is it beautiful to look at, but it’s also very educational too. My children are already enjoying naming all the animals on the poster. It’so cute to watch.
The foil letters you see are currently available in gold and rose gold options. You do also have the option to purchase a high-quality Teak Wooden Hanger to go with the poster. The A2 size hanger suitable for this poster is 42cm long, however, I purchased my own frame and I think it looks really lovely and matches my other frames perfectly.
This would be an ideal gift for Christmas or birthdays, or even a baby shower, or for a young child’s room or anyone who just adores animals! I love adding these sweet, beautiful and refreshing pictures in my home. The Regular price is $59.99 but they currently have a sale on across their website. You can save $11 on this particular product and only pay $48.99
As most of you know by now we are large homeschooling family living in regional New South Wales and we have been schooling now at home for almost 5 years and it’s been wonderful. Although homeschooling has mostly been a breeze for my children and I, there, of course have been some struggles along the way especially when it comes to maths. Maths is not their favourite subject and if i’m honest it’s not mine either, however, it’s important that we work hard at mathematics because we will be using these skills for the rest of our lives! The children often find their workbooks boring and lose interest very quickly! I decided it was time to try a different method of learning.
Maths online – In collaboration with Maths Online
In the last few days we have starting using a 12 month family membership with maths online and although it’s only early days my children are really excited to use it! I have never seen them so excited about maths before so I’m definitely a very happy mum right now! Over the next 12 months I will be updating you on their ongoing progress with the program We are so excited! Maths has just been become a fun subject in our household thanks to maths online!
How
it works
Each of the 1,400+ Maths Online tutorials last around 4-9 minutes and present the concepts of the maths lesson step-by-step. Using synchronised audio and animation which harnesses both audio and visual learning styles simultaneously. Maths Online lessons can be studied at home or at school and all devices. Obviously no one can force a young person to study maths, but what we have done here is to provide materials that are interesting and stimulating in themselves, and which will encourage the student, once started, to continue studying.
What we love about it
What I love about the programs
far is the video tutorials that you can listen to before each lesson. the tutorial explains the
lesson very well and even shows you few examples to help you. I also love that
I am able to set tasks and keep a track of my children’s progress.
https://www.mathsonline.com.au/purchase/homeschool — (We do ask that once you have purchased your homeschooling membership that you provide a scanned copy of your certificate or registration of approval to home school within 4 weeks of purchase)
As you all know by now, I am a mum of nine children under eleven and we also officially home-school six out of our nine children. As a registered home school under the N.E.S.A, we are eligible to participate in the Woolworth’s earn learn program which is super exciting!. We participated in last years program and collected a significant amount of stickers and were able to get a few small supplies for our school. This year we aim to go bigger and do better than last year. We hope you can help us achieve this too! let’s all stick together!
This year our school has been given an earn and learn promotions pack which also includes a huge collection box to place in our local Woolworths store! We are super excited!
In 2017, when Woolworths last ran Earn & Learn, they had over 15,000 schools and ELC’s involved and delivered over 300,000 pieces of equipment for science and technology, maths, arts, and more to kids all over Australia. How awesome is that!
Please support our home-school by collecting stickers at Woolworths from May 1st till June 25th! We will have a collection box in the Queanbeyan Woolworths store.
