Claire’s keto bread recipe

Claire’s keto bread recipe

A very lovely crunchy keto bread loaf!

Hey everyone,

Ever since I have been on my keto weight loss journey I have been looking for healthier food alternatives that still tastes just as good as the ones that are higher carbohydrates. Today I am giving you my version of the keto bread recipe.

For this recipe you will need;

Ingredients;

  • 1¼ cups almond flour
  • 5 tbsp ground psyllium husk powder
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp sea salt
  • 1 tbsp of white chia seeds – these are for sprinkling on top of your bread before it goes in the oven
  • 2 tsp cider vinegar
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 3 egg whites
  • 2 tbsp sesame seeds (optional) – I like to use half a cup of paleo mix for an extra nutty and crunchy taste

Instructions for the keto bread recipe are as follows;

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix all the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  2. Bring the water to a boil and add it, the vinegar and egg whites to the bowl, while beating with a hand mixer for about 30 seconds. Don’t over mix the dough, the consistency should resemble Play-Doh.
  3. place the mixture in a loaf tray and make it as flat as possible – if you want to make rolls instead then moisten hands and make 6 small round pieces of the dough. Place them on a greased baking sheet. Before you place your bread in the oven sprinkle your chia seeds on top of the mixture.
  4. Bake on lower rack in the oven for 50–60 minutes, depending on the size of your bread.
  5. Allow cool before slicing. Serve with butter and toppings of your choice. Enjoy!

And there you have it! You no longer have to be sad about not having any bread in your life when you embark on the keto diet. You can have a lower carb option that still tastes just as good as normal bread.

BabyU baby wipes review

BabyU baby wipes review

Hey everyone!

Today I want to talk to you about Baby Wipes. There are so many different brands out there to chose from that it can end up being overwhelming for us parents. I recently have been trialling the Baby U products range, I was lucky enough to meet this brand recently at a kids business blogger event in Sydney. I have been trailing 3 different types of wipes from their product range and I absolutely loved them all!

Here are 3 different types that I have tested;

1.BabyU Bamboo baby wipes

BabyU Bamboo baby wipes
They have all natural ingredients, they smell great and they glide on the skin and were not harsh in any way. Leaving the children’s skin super soft! They were really great and I would definitely get them again! I honestly love the idea of bamboo baby wipes

2.BabyU Goat milk wipes

These wipes were actually amazing especially if my baby had a sore bottom which he does a lot of the moment due to teething! I have always been a fan of goats milk because it is very good for dry skin conditions. These wipes were very soothing and left the kids skin feeling super soft. Loved them!

3. BabyU soft and thick wipes

These wipes were extra thick and super moist, and I love that about them. You really do need those extra thick wipes for extra dirty bottoms from time to time! Because of the extra thickness you only need to use 1 -2 wipes per nappy change.  I also loved the texture of these wipes. and the fact that they were fragrance-free. I  also loved how soft the children’s skin felt after using these wipes.

I enjoyed testing all of these wipes out and I honestly I could not pick a favourite! I like how well packaged the wipes are and how easy the lid closes on the packet of wipes. My biggest pet peeve with wipes is when the lid doesn’t shut properly and all your wipes end up drying out! I would highly recommend them all to you. See which ones work best for you and your family. You can purchase these wipes from places such as; Chemist warehouse, baby direct AU, Coles, BigW and many more…

Thanks, BabyU

Eonian Care bottle warmer & sterilizer review

Eonian Care bottle warmer & sterilizer review

Hey everyone,

Last month I was invited to a wonderful mummy blogger event called kid’s business, whilst I was at the event, I met an amazing brand called Eonian Care. Eonion makes a wide range of breastfeeding and sterilazation baby products. They are Australian owned and operated baby care company. The products are very affordable and they even have afterpay as a payment option.

All Eonian Care products are inspired by nature and tested to meet or even exceed the Australian Standards. As a mum of nine children under eleven years of age, sterilization of baby bottles and dummies is a must in my house! I was lucky enough to be gifted this amazing bottle warmer and sterilizer machine. I have been trialling this machine for a few weeks now and I am absolutely loving it! The colours of this machine are beautiful as well! It definitely has added a pop of colour to my old country house. It has also simplified my life so much!

Michael has just turned one and it’s my personal choice is to still sterilize all his bottles and dummies. I prepare all his bottles the night before and then heat them throughout the day in the bottle warmer. It is so simple to use and only takes a few minutes to heat the bottles! I also love the sterilization part of the machine. The rack has enough space for at least 4 bottles, teats and a couple of dummies and it only takes 10 minutes to sterilize! That means I have got time for a quick coffee! When you first use this machine it is important to thoroughly read through the instructions which are provided, as the machine does require a certain amount of water to be added when using both elements of the machine. It is important to pour in the right amount of water, this is made super simple as a measuring cup is provided!

Thankyou Eonion for the bottle warmer/ sterilizer. I absolutely love it! It is so easy to use and is completely Stress-free! I am a very happy mum of Nine!

Hospital drama! Before and after my son was born

Hospital drama! Before and after my son was born

This Tribe of mine

Please See the letter we sent to the hospital below that explains what a horrendous experience we endured.

.

.

To whom this may concern,

Please accept this statement as a formal complaint relating to how I was treated during my labour and delivery on 14th February 2018.

Firstly I was told my entire pregnancy that I was high risk because I was having my ninth child and that because I had a history of preterm labour and postpartum haemorrhage that they would be keeping a close eye on me.

I strongly believe that hospital failed their duty of care towards me during this time whilst I was in labour.

I was also told that as soon as my first contraction started that I was to head straight to hospital where there could keep a close eye on me. I rang the hospital and told them I was in labour…

Little innoscents skincare reveiw

Little innoscents skincare reveiw

Hair fudge.

Hey everyone,

Over the last few weeks, I have been trialling the little innocents baby skincare range! Our family is loving everything so far!

Massage oil

The little innoscents skincare range is all natural and organic, using pure essential oils, and natural ingredients. The whole range smells amazing and feels amazing! it is also great for dry and irritated skin!

We all know how hard it is to find genuine, natural and organic products in today’s market. The companies are either misleading consumers with their ingredients, or they are just too expensive to buy. What I love most about this range is that it is very affordable, it smells good, and it feels good on your skin!

As a family of 11 people, we have a variety of different skin types in the house! I have found that the range has worked on us all! My husband and I both have dry skin conditions and have found the intensive cream and the mineral powder especially great on our skin!

A big favourite with our children was the milky whites toothpaste and the hair fudge! The kids said that the toothpaste tasted amazing, it was gone within 2 days! baring in mind we have 8 kids brushing their teeth twice a day! And given how big our family is we probably need a huge tube of it. The hair fudge has been great for styling the kid’s hair, especially for my youngest boy is almost 1 year old.

Some of the little innoscents range

My personal favourite from the range is the massage oil, not only is it awesome for the kids when they complain of growing pains but is also great for me and my chronic neck pain! I have tried and tested many creams and oils on my neck for the past two and a half years since my car accident and nothing has worked! But this massage oil is absolutely amazing! I love it!

My husband’s favourite product is the mineral powder the intensive care cream. He suffers badly with psoriasis and has found that nothing has helped over the years, he has been using the intensive soothing cream for a few weeks now and already his hands look so much better!

We love this range and can’t wait to see what they do next.

Thank you, little innoscents for being so amazing!
